Tuition Period
The tuition target period is displayed in green text on the right side of the “Tuition” label.
Tuition Calculation Rules
- If your stay in Japan is less than 1 year:
- Enter the tuition amount for the actual period of stay.
- Example: 6 months
- If your stay is 1 year or longer:
- Enter 1 year of tuition.
- If you are an exchange student or do not pay tuition in Japan:
- You can enter 0 yen.
Recommended Amounts for Tuition and Living Expenses
In some cases, the school may already set recommended amounts for tuition and living expenses in advance.
- You may use the suggested amounts as they are.
- You may also adjust the amounts based on your actual situation.
Living Expenses Guidance
The required monthly living expenses depend on the area where you will live in Japan.
However, in many cases, students are expected to have at least:
- 100,000 yen or more per month
for living expenses such as:
- Rent
- Food
- Transportation
- Daily necessities
Students living in large cities such as Tokyo or Osaka may require higher monthly living expenses.

You must select who will pay your expenses.
Important Rules
- Multiple payment supporters can be registered.
- At least one supporter is required.
- First, select the first supporter.
- After selecting, a popup window (modal) will appear.
- Enter the required information and click Save.

Adding Multiple Payment Supporters
After completing the first supporter registration:
To Add Another Supporter
- Click “Add” at the bottom right of the screen.
- Selection buttons will appear.
- Choose one of the payment responsibility options again.
- Enter the required information and click Save.
