📝 Additional Information
What is an Expense Statement?
An Expense Statement is a written pledge to cover your study abroad expenses. It includes details such as the planned payment amount, payment method, and information about the financial sponsor. The sponsor must sign and date the document.
1. If your school uses the SpeedVisa-provided format:
After entering the required information in SpeedVisa, your school may share a downloadable Expense Statement with your details included.
Before downloading
- The “Download” button only appears after your school shares the document with you.
- If you cannot see the button, your school may not have shared the document yet.
- This is usually not a system problem.
To download it:
- Log in to SpeedVisa.
- Go to "Fill out Residence Application" from your dashboard.
- If your school has shared the document, you will see a “Download” button at the top of the page.
- Download the document, print it, and have your financial sponsor sign and date it.
- Upload a clear scan or photo of the signed document into the designated upload folder.

🔄 Other documents may also be shared this way via SpeedVisa, including:
-
Resume (CV)
-
Application for Permission to Engage in Activity Other Than That Permitted
-
Application for Extension of Period of Stay
⚠️ Note: These documents will only appear on your screen if your school has chosen to share them with you.
